Forum.
The 9th Annual Chemical Management Services (CMS) Workshop explored CMS,
a growing business model now established in eleven industry sectors, including
automotive, aerospace, and electronics.
This workshop provided learning opportunities both for companies new to
CMS and those who have an existing CMS program. The three-day event included
case studies from CMS customers, discussion time, and breakout sessions
for in-depth learning. Topics explored included:
- How to maximize cost savings and minimize waste with CMS
- How to evaluate and initiate a CMS program
- How to address challenges and barriers in implementing your
CMS program
- CMS and lean manufacturing
- Trends in the CMS industry and potential implications of
REACH, RoHS and other
emerging regulations
Participants also had the opportunity to attend industry-specific roundtable
meetings, which provided a unique opportunity to meet with colleagues and have
an open discussion.
